An Overview of Search Engine Optimization Now

It's 2016 and a lot of changes have come to the search engine optimization arena.  Between Panda and Penguin there's been a lot of changes in the last year.  Luckily  Google tells us what they want in a website to help it rank. It's not too difficult all you have to do is type in a search query and then see who's at the top of the search results and then analyze the site. Everything that you need to rank your site and promote your business is there for you in plain sight. So if you need to get above Bob's Brown Button Store and upon analysis we can see that Bob has backlinks from several High Authority sites all saying how wonderful Bob's Brown buttons are, he's got a lot of social interaction from places like Facebook Google+ ,etc, etc and his site provides a wonderful user experience so that when people get to his site they do not bounce off of it, giving him a low bounce rate, we can see why it has risen to the top.

Google wants people to use their search engine.  We know that the majority of their business comes from advertising and to properly advertise and Market you need eyes.  You are not going to get those eyes unless you are providing a good user experience.  And they've done a wonderful job because they are one of the most popular browsers in the entire world. In fact the second largest search engine is YouTube, which by the way, they own as well.  So they have clearly succeeded in what they set out to do and they have set the standard for what we should do as webmasters or business owners when it comes to the creation of our site and its surrounding marketing. We can see by the Panda penalty that sites that have very thin content or duplicate content, or low quality content all got hit by this penalty knocking them off of their ranking levels.  Gone are the days where you can repeat a keyword repeatedly  to a webpage and expect to rank for it. With the Penguin penalty  we saw that by improperly backlinking or getting links from sites that either paid for or improperly manipulated would put us in the cross-hairs of the Google gun.  Thankfully Google does allow us to recover from these mistakes and recover our web sites if we do happen to get hit.

So search engine optimization is really quite easy. The requirements have been laid out before us to follow like a roadmap. Our job as webmasters is to provide an excellent experience for our traffic, answer questions or solve a problem,  and make it as easy as possible with a visitor to gather what they need and go on with their life.  And that's what we do and Visibility Marketing USA.  We create a wonderful website that represents your business,  create social properties so that you can interact with your clients and prospective clients,  and put it all together in a way that's easily understandable and altogether provides a wonderful user experience for those that come to visit you.
